I'm not a paranormal investigator, contrary to popular belief.  However, I have tagged along on a few investigations, which helped me paint a better picture of the subject matter I was writing about at the time. Writing and research are two great passions of mine.  As a para-historian, I seek the history behind the paranormal activity; and, in doing so, I've learned a great deal about historic crimes--many unresolved--and the ramifications of such events. This naturally led to a desire to branch out and write about unsolved historical crimes, so my first four true crime books will be released within the year: one from Stackpole Books and three from The History Press. My hope is that keeping such stories alive will bring in more leads and ultimately some answers for those cases that remain unsolved.
